Last year’s APRES Annual Meeting in Richmond, VA was a powerful reminder of what our peanut community can achieve — together, the U.S. peanut industry donated more than 7000 jars of peanut butter to Feed More, Central Virginia’s leading hunger‑relief organization.
In 2026, APRES is working to make a substantial monetary donation to Banco de Alimentos Puerto Rico.
Banco de Alimentos Puerto Rico is a private, non-profit organization founded with the purpose of alleviating hunger, improving nutrition and the quality of life of the most vulnerable citizens. It distributes food through its organization network reaching the Island with an army of volunteers who have provided thousands of hours of service in the mission to bring food to all corners of Puerto Rico.
Our Goal in 2026:
We’re aiming to raise $1,500 to help Banco de Alimentos Puerto Rico to fight food insecurity for the less fortunate in the Island.
