The American Peanut Research and Education Society invites all peanut industry members who wish to present original peanut research/education/extension papers or posters at APRES’s 53rd Annual Meeting to submit an abstract on-line by the deadline date: Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
Papers are being accepted in the following categories:
Breeding, Biotechnology, and Genetics
Economics
Entomology
Extension Techniques and Technology
Food Science (Processing, Utilization, Nutrition, and Allergy)
Harvesting, Curing, Shelling, Storing, and Handling
Mycotoxins
Physiology and Seed Technology
Plant Pathology and Nematology
Production Technology
Weed Science
Other

Awards are given for the Best Papers Presented at the 53rd Annual Meeting.
Authors of both oral presentations and posters will receive an official email by May 1st with details on the day and time of presentation at the 53rd APRES Annual Meeting.
Abstract Corrections
Previously submitted abstracts may be revised until May 31st. Please fill out a new submission form and attach your revised abstract. There is no limit to how many times you may edit your abstract. The published abstract will be the last submission received as of May 31st.
International Members
If you plan on attending the 2021 APRES Annual Meeting, we strongly suggest you begin your travel paperwork now. Please let us know ASAP if you need a letter of invitation.

2021 APRES Attendees,
Planning for a live, in-person 53rd APRES Annual Meeting is underway. The health and safety of everyone is our top priority and the meeting in Dallas will only be held if federal, state and local governments are in agreement that it is safe to do so. As new information is received, the APRES Board of Directors and Program Committee will evaluate future steps and keep you apprised on whether the 2021 meeting will pivot to an on-line meeting, utilizing the hugely successful 2020 Annual Meeting format (with added features).
We ask you to Be Pro-Active: Submit an Abstract and Register for the meeting. The 53rd APRES Annual Meeting will be held July 13-15, 2020–live and in person or using virtual technology.
