Monday, July 8 Activities

Field Tour & Lunch

Join us for a field tour and lunch generously sponsored by Helena Chemical. The tour will depart from the hotel at approximately 8:30 am, transportation will be provided, but you are welcome to drive your own car if preferred. Our itinerary features visits to the Schantz Family Farm in Hydro, OK, and a Birdsong buying point in Eakly, OK. Lunch will be hosted at OSU's Caddo Research Station in Fort Cobb, followed by a guided tour. Expect to return to the hotel by 4:00 pm. With limited spots available, secure your place today for this exceptional opportunity to explore and learn!

Join us to kick-off to the 2024 APRES Annual Meeting with a happy hour meet-up at Social Capital, conveniently located across the park from the Omni Oklahoma City hotel, on Monday, July 8th, at 5:30 pm! Social Capital boasts an impressive selection of over 100 craft beers and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. This event will provide a great opportunity to network and unwind before the meeting begins. We look forward to seeing you there!

Graduate students, bring your walking shoes! Get ready to gather together at 7 p.m. during the Ice Cream Social to explore historic Savannah, GA. Groups of students will compete in a scavenger hunt to iconic landmarks in the city. All will be within walking distance of the hotel.
